Who we are
FlowIQ (flowiq.ae) is an air-quality and home-maintenance service based in Dubai, UAE, specialising in ERV filter replacement and cleaning for Al Furjan villas. When this policy says "we", "us", or "FlowIQ" it refers to our business.

Data we collect
We collect only the information needed to deliver our service:
- Name — to address you and manage your booking.
- Email address — to send booking confirmations and service updates.
- Mobile number — to contact you about your visit via WhatsApp.
- Villa / unit address — to locate your property on the day of service.
- Service preferences — the plan you select and any visit-date notes.
- Payment data — processed entirely by our payment provider (Ziina). We do not store card numbers or payment credentials.
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics scripts on our website.
How we use your data
- Process and fulfil your service booking.
- Send booking confirmation and receipt emails.
- Contact you to confirm visit logistics or reschedule.
- Send reminders when your annual subscription is due for renewal.
- Notify waitlisted customers when a visit slot opens.
- Improve our service based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns.
We will never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Third-party services
We work with trusted third-party providers to operate our service. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function:
- Payment processing — Card payments are handled by a PCI-compliant payment provider. Your card details go directly to them and are never stored on our systems.
- Email delivery — Booking confirmations and service updates are sent via a third-party email delivery service. Your email address is shared solely for delivery purposes.
- Data storage — Your booking and customer records are stored in a secure cloud database with encryption at rest and in transit.
- Website infrastructure — Our website and API are hosted on a cloud platform that provides security features including DDoS protection and bot filtering.
- Customer messaging — If you contact us or book via WhatsApp, those messages are subject to Meta's own privacy policy. We do not store WhatsApp conversations on our systems.
We do not sell data to any third party, and all providers are contractually bound to process your data only as instructed by us.
Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as you are an active customer or have an open booking. For inactive customers, records are retained for up to 3 years to comply with UAE commercial record-keeping requirements, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data (subject to any legal retention requirements).
- Object to processing for purposes beyond your original booking.

Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Our database enforces Row-Level Security so only our backend service role can read or write customer records. Admin access requires multi-factor authentication (CAPTCHA + secret key).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our service after a change constitutes acceptance.
